Admission Requirements for Maryville University’s Online Graduate Nursing Programs

Applicants to Maryville University’s MSN programs must hold a current RN license as well as a BSN from a CCNE or ACEN accredited institution, and have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher during their undergraduate education. Candidates for the post-MSN certificate program must be licensed registered nurses who have earned an MSN from an accredited program and maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher during the completion of their graduate degree. Both MSN and post-MSN program applicants must have a minimum of one year of nursing experience and need to submit three letters of recommendation as well as a personal statement and curriculum vitae with their application.

Applicants to Maryville’s BSN to DNP programs must hold a current RN license and a BSN degree from a CCNE or ACEN-accredited institution and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher during their undergraduate career. They must also have completed a minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse. As with the MSN program, candidates for Maryville’s BSN to DNP program must submit a personal statement, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.

No GRE or GMAT scores are required to apply to any of Maryville University’s online graduate nursing programs.
